Review Of the Gucci Princetown Slippers

So, I have had these beauties for a few months now and I thought I would do a quick review on them for those who may be interested in purchasing. I didn’t buy them from a Gucci store, I ordered them online as I do not have a Gucci store near to where I live. I had watched a lot of You Tube reviews so I knew that they were pretty true to size unlike the Gucci sneakers which come up very big. However I decided to order half a size up than my normal size (normally 39.5) and the 40 fits me perfectly. I definitely suggest trying them in store to find your exact size.

The Gucci slippers and loafers were very much a love|hate shoe for me. They reminded me of my Nan (when she was alive bless her), she would always wear the loafer style shoe and I always thought they were pretty ugly. The Gucci style grew on me over the years after being influenced by instagram and other social media platforms.

I decided to purchase the slipper style as I felt as if the loafer was quite masculine and heavy compared. As you can see I chose the embellished pair with the gold bees and stars. I was going to get the plain black pair as I read that a lot of people with this particular design find it hard to style with their wardrobe. I am really glad I went with my first choice. I personally don’t find them hard to style, I wear a lot of jeans and logo t shirts and I just rock them my own way.

Ok, so overall, what is my opinion?

I really love these shoes, they are so comfortable and easy to walk in. I can wear them all day without any discomfort and I love the ease of just literally slipping them on and out the door I go.

Do I recommend them?

If you have been thinking about investing in the Gucci slippers then yes. They are expensive shoes but I definitely think they are worth the price. If you look after them well they will be a staple in your wardrobe for years.

Any negatives?

The price. 😆

The sole of the shoe has pretty much no grip so I would highly recommend taking them straight to a shoe cobblers to get them resoled to prevent any damage to the leather and also to prevent any slipping accidents..

I hope this review helped! Let me know if you have any questions xxx
